LOVE FROM BLUE
Created with the intention to do things a little differently, Love From Blue is a contemporary knitwear label crafted with purpose, care, and consciousness. We are a small team based in Hong Kong that’s poised to do big things.
1. Mission
Love From Blue is entirely transparent about their source of material from waste and production in China.
2. Sustainable materials
Love From Blue only uses deadstock materials in natural fibers. This ensures they are not contributing to water/carbon and chemical pollution in the process of making new yarn. They also ensure the garments' end of life. The fabrics like cotton and linen are 100% biodegradable.
3. Ethical standards
Collaborate with social enterprise projects like A New Studio in Japan and "Suvin Master Blend Project", which ensures that local Indian farmers are compensated fairly. In addition, following a strict Factory Code of Conduct to ensure workers' rights and safety standards are met.
4. Location & logistics
All Garments are made in China, with Hong Kong offices. Love From Blue collaborate with local Hong Kong artists and charitiesto promote creativity and social enterprise locally.
Responsible packaging
They use "NoIssue" biodegradable packaging.
All hangtags and paper used in packaging are 100% recycled.They also only use 100% cotton string to attach the hangtags to reduce plastic elements in the packaging.
Care labels and neck labels are also 100% cotton.
6. Improvement goals
1. Expand the production internationally.
2. Use yarn deadstock to produce and sell within a contained region, reducing the logistics carbon footprint.
