Both in craftsmanship and design.
1. Mission
«We cut no corners and have nothing to hide».
By sharing the stories behind - where it's made, who made them and the true cost of each item, we hope to heighten your awareness and help you make better decisions.
2. Sustainable materials
SOURCE Collections avoid using synthetic fabrics and only natural and/or eco-friendly options. Fabrics they currently use:
- TENCEL™ Lyocell and Micromodal (Intimate) from Lenzing AG
- Organic Cotton from China TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are derived from sustainable wood sources, harvested from certified and controlled sources following the stringent guidelines of the Lenzing Wood and Pulp policy.
3. Ethical standards
Their Knit Factory is located Huidong, China, founded in 1974. The factory provides a working place for 400 skilled workers. The Knit Factory partner is certified Gold by WorldWide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), awarded to facilities that fully comply with WRAP's 12 Principles. The management strongly believes and recognizes the importance of providing workers safe and good working conditions.
As for our Underwear Factory partner, beyond being a member of amfori BSCI, the company has more than 30 years of manufacturing experience under its belt.
4. Location & logistics
The company SOURCE Collections is located in Singapore and work with 3 manufacturing factories across China and Vietnam that provide a workforce of 3,000 employees across Asia.
5. Responsible packaging
All packagings are plastic-free and made from brown kraft paper or FSC-certified paper.
6. Improvement goals
Though SOURCE Collections are off to a good start, they recognize that their work isn’t as sustainable as it could be.
1. Better control and forecasting to reduce overstocking.
2. Continue to source for better quality materials that's long-lasting and durable, even after frequent wear and washes.
3. Share more content such as behind-the-scenes, styling tips and knowledge to buy lesser, buy better, love and cherish the pieces they have.
